Progress Physiotherapy: One of Canada’s leading Shockwave Therapy Providers
Why choose Shockwave Therapy?
It’s simple: recover faster, even from chronic conditions.
Shockwave Therapy is an evidence-based, scientifically proven regenerative tissue treatment. It has become the gold standard of non-invasive soft tissue healing in the field of rehabilitation. Shockwaves help promote the healing and repair of damaged soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Shockwave therapy is also used to speed the healing of stress fractures and non-union bone fractures.
Progress Physiotherapy is a leader in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) options. We are one of only a small number of clinics in Canada offering both Radial (RSWT) and Focus Shockwave Therapy (FSWT). The more common RSWT can effectively treat superficial (1-2cm) soft tissues. FSWT, currently rare in Canada, allows for adjustable treatment depths. FSWT can penetrate much deeper (1-12cm) into the body.
Having both technologies enables our clinicians to treat both superficial and deep tissues to facilitate faster healing. By providing our patients with industry-leading technology, we are successful in treating both difficult and stubborn conditions and improving patient outcomes at a faster rate than traditional rehabilitation methods.
